Policies in promoting digital development of equipments to be formulated along with innovation of smart equipment to shore up construction of digital China. NEV industry to be further expanded with supply ability of PV and lithium power to be overall improved. Utilization of scrap iron and steel to reach 265mio ton by 2023.

*CPCAAUTO: retail sales of passenger vehicles during Feb 1st to 19th of 730k units, up 16% y/y and down 9% m/m with accumulated retail sales within the year of 2.02mio units, down 26% y/y.

*National Medical Insurance Bureau issued notice to well implement centralized drug procurement and price administration in 2023 and said to further expand drug coverage with 8th batch of centralized procurement to be carried forward.

*National Consumption promotion work conference was held which emphasized to issue new measures in stabilizing commodity consumption of auto and home appliance with new-type consumption to be cultivated to boost fundamental role of consumption played for economic development.

* Precious metals closed mixed. COMEX gold contract up 0.38% to closed at $1843.6/oz. SHFE gold active contract down 0.05% to closed at 413.06 yuan/gram.

* Metals closed up collectively, LME zinc up 4.45%, LME aluminium up 2.99%, LME copper up 1.86%, LME lead up 1.78%, LME tin up 1.57%. SHFE zinc up 1.20%, SHFE nickel down 1.58% on the contrast.
