International Relationship
*Vice Chairman Han Zheng met with US representatives who attended the 14th round of dialogue between Chinese and American business leaders and former high-ranking officials in Beijing on July 11th. The US business community is willing to continue expanding cooperation with China, actively playing the role of a bridge and link, and promoting the healthy and stable development of US-China relations.
Industrial Economy
*Beijing will further expand the types of low-carbon pilot projects this year, solicit pilot projects such as advanced low-carbon technology, low-carbon leader companies and climate-friendly regions, and continue to promote the construction of climate investment and financing pilot projects. And for eligible projects, green financial policy support will be given in accordance with relevant regulations according to the type.

*The Administration for Market Regulation released the "Management Measures for Food Business Licenses and Recording", simplifying the procedures for food business licenses, which will be effective from December 1, 2023.
*NDRC: Since 24:00 on July 12, 2023, the domestic prices of gasoline and diesel will increase by RMB 155 and RMB 150 per ton respectively.
*State Council Premier Li Qiang presided over a platform enterprise symposium to listen to opinions and suggestions on better promoting the standardized, healthy and sustainable development of the platform economy, whom emphasized that governments at all levels should focus on creating a fair competition market environment, improving policies such as investment access and safety evaluation of new technologies and businesses, improving transparent and predictable normalized regulatory systems, reducing enterprise compliance operating costs, and promoting the healthy development of the industry.

* Global crude oil price closed up collectively. August NYMEX crude oil contract up 1.38% to closed at $75.86/b, September Brent contract up 1.03% to closed at $80.22/b. INE crude oil active contract up 0.85% to 578.2 yuan/b. Weak trend of USD and tight expectation of supply supported oil precious performed strong.
* Precious metals closed up collectively. COMEX gold contract up 1.34% to closed at $1963.1/oz. SHFE gold active contract up 0.64% and closed at 455.22 yuan/gram. Under-expected inflation data and resultant resume of interest rate cut support gold price moved upward.
* Metals closed up collectively, LME nickel up 4.21%, LME tin up 4.09%, LME zinc up 2.91%, LME copper up 2.29%. Fundamental metals moved up collectively, SHFE tin up 3.44%, SHFE nickel up 3.43%, SHFE zinc up 1.75%.
* Commodity futures closed up collectively. Chemistry and energy products saw strong performance, soda ash up 1.44%, LPG up 1.13%, EB up 1.03%. Black series closed up collectively, iron ore up 1.59%, coke up 1.01%. Agricultural products closed up mostly, rapeseed oil up 1.54%, rapeseed meal up 1.54%, soybeans meal 1.51%.
