*The PBoC work conference was held in Beijing from January 4th to 5th, which emphasized to steadily promote the prevention and resolution of financial risks in key areas, continuously deepen financial reform, implement the action plan to increase efforts to support financing for technology-based enterprises, implement precise policies based on the city to implement differentiated housing credit policies and meet the reasonable financing needs of various real estate enterprises.
*The State Council issued the “Opinions on Further Improving the Budget System for State-owned Capital Operation”, expanding the coverage of state-owned capital operating budgets, improving the mechanism for transferring profits from wholly state-owned enterprises.
*SAFE: Resolutely correct the pro-cyclical and unilateral behaviors, and maintain the basic stability of the RMB exchange rate at a reasonable and balanced level, improve the level of cross-border trade and investment facilitation for technology innovation and small and medium-sized enterprises.

*Ministry of Education: Take the “double reduction” work as the top priority and unswervingly promote, pay more attention to improve the quality and efficiency of the school, improve after-school service level, promote the high-quality and balanced development of compulsory education.
*Shenzhen released and publicly solicited the “Implementation Opinions on Actively Promoting the Transformation of Urban and Villages to Realize High-Quality Development”.

* Commodities (night session):
* Global crude oil price closed up collectively. February NYMEX crude oil contract up 2.44% to closed at $73.81/b, March Brent contract up 1.51% to closed at $78.76/b. INE crude oil active contract up 1.46% to 561.2 yuan/b.
* Precious metals closed up slightly, COMEX gold active contract up 0.13 and closed at $2052.70/oz. SHFE gold active contract up 0.05%.
* Metals closed up mostly, LME nickel up 1.92%, LME lead up 1.66%, LME zinc up 0.94%, LME tin down 0.85% on the contrast. Aluminum oxide up 1.68%, SHFE tin up 1.27%, SHFE lead up 0.81%.
* Commodity futures closed mixed, chemistry and energy products performed mixed, MEG up 2.51%, polyester fiber, PX and wood pulp up over 1%.TSR 20 down over 3%, natural rubber down over 2%. Black series closed down collectively, coking coal down 2.16%, coke down 2.04%. Agricultural products closed mixed, soda ash, soybean meal and rapeseed meal down over 1%, RBD palm olein up nearly 1%.
