*Chairman Xi Jinping took an inspection in Fujian Province, who emphasized to seize the vitality of construction mechanism, optimize industry, enrich people, protect ecology, promote the deep integration of technological innovation and industrial innovation and cultivate and strengthen strategic emerging industries.

 

Financial

*State Council Premier Li Qiang attended Shanghai Cooperation Organization twenty-third meeting of the council of heads of state governments, who emphasized to deepen cooperation in poverty reduction, digital economy, green development and improve the convenience and interconnection level of regional trade and investment, prepare to build the SCO Development Bank.

*PBoC and Ministry of Science and Technology jointly issued the “Notice on Doing a Good Job in Scientific and Technological Financial Services in Key Areas”, which guide and promote scientific and technological financial services in densely populated areas such as Beijing, Yangtze River Delta, Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

 

Industrial Economy

*Beijing compiled and publicly solicited opinions on the “Several Measures for Promoting High-Quality Development of Specialized and Special New Enterprises”, which mentions optimizing the renewal loan policy to meet the liquidity needs of specialized and special new enterprises that meet the conditions.

*MIIT and Ministry of Agriculture and Rural jointly held a national meeting to promote the improvement of agricultural machinery and equipment shortcomings and high-quality development.

*MoF and 7 other departments jointly issued a notice on strengthening the supervision and management of the recycling of scrapped motor vehicles.

*MoF: The number of applications and purchases for trade-in home appliances nationwide has exceeded 20mio and 10mio respectively after MoF issued the notice on “Further Doing a Good Job in Home Appliance Exchange” and provide subsidies for consumers to purchase 8 types of home appliance products with energy efficiency or water efficiency standards of level 2 or above.
