-The National Financial Regulatory Administration held a symposium for foreign-funded financial institutions in Haikou, where it gained an understanding of the institutions’ business operations and development plans, and solicited relevant opinions and suggestions. Li Yunze, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of the National Financial Regulatory Administration, stated that foreign-funded financial institutions should adhere to a scientific market positioning, focus on their core businesses, improve corporate governance, and give full play to their professional advantages in areas such as wealth management, elderly care finance, green and low-carbon finance, and cross-border services, so as to achieve distinctive operations and differentiated development.
 
-The Beijing Branch of PBoC and 11 other departments have issued the “Implementation Plan for Financial Support to Boost and Expand Consumption in Beijing”, which proposes to support the construction of consumption infrastructure and commercial and trade circulation systems.

-Data from the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS): In October, the unemployment rate among the labor force aged 16-24 (excluding students in school) in urban areas across the country stood at 17.3%; the unemployment rate among the labor force aged 25-29 (excluding students in school) was 7.2%; and the unemployment rate among the labor force aged 30-59 (excluding students in school) was 3.8%.
 
-Data from the State Post Bureau of China: From January to October this year, the volume of China’s express delivery business increased by more than 16% y/y.
 
-Data from the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers: In October, the production and sales of NEVs maintained rapid y/y growth; the sales volume of NEVs accounted for more than 50% of the total sales volume of new vehicles. Specifically, the production and sales of NEVs reached 1.772 mio units and 1.715 mio units respectively, with y/y growth rates of 21.1% and 20% respectively.
