– Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif of Pakistan confirmed that Iran and the United States, along with their respective allies, have agreed to an immediate ceasefire at all locations, including Lebanon and other regions, with effect from the date of announcement.
– Regarding the widely watched question of whether tolls will be charged in the Strait of Hormuz, Iran’s Ambassador to China Fazli stated in Beijing that Iran has not yet issued a formal toll plan or standards, and will make a decision with reference to current toll practices of other waterways around the world and international law.
– U.S. President Donald Trump stated in a social media post that any country that provides military weapons to Iran will face an immediate 50% tariff on “any and all goods” it sells to the United States.
