– Eight departments including the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued the Implementation Opinions on the Special Action for “AI + Manufacturing”, with the goal that by 2027, the safe and reliable supply of key core technologies of artificial intelligence in China will be achieved, and the industrial scale and enabling capacity will rank among the world’s forefront.
– Multiple departments jointly held a symposium on the power and energy storage battery industry to research and arrange work related to regulating the industry’s competitive order. More than ten enterprises in total, including leading power battery manufacturers, energy storage battery producers and integrators, attended the meeting. – Data released by the PBoC shows that China’s gold reserves stood at 74.15 million ounces (approximately 2,306.323 tons) at the end of December, up 30,000 ounces (around 0.93 tons) m/m, marking the 14th consecutive month of gold reserve increases.
– Data released by the State Administration of Foreign Exchange (SAFE) shows that China’s foreign exchange reserves stood at 3,357.9 billion US dollars by the end of December 2025, up 11.5 billion US dollars or 0.34% from the end of November.
