*CSRC issued the “Guidelines on Establishing a Sci-Tech Innovation Growth Sector on the STAR Market to Enhance Institutional Inclusiveness and Adaptability”, which proposes reinstating the fifth set of listing criteria for unprofitable companies on the STAR Market and expanding its scope of application to support more cutting-edge technology enterprises, such as those in AI, commercial aerospace and the low-altitude economy, establishing a Sci-Tech Innovation Growth Sector within the STAR Market, specifically targeting tech firms that have achieved significant technological breakthroughs, possess strong commercial potential and maintain high R&D investment but are still in the pre-profit stage.
*CSRC announced that QFII will be permitted to participate in on-exchange ETF options trading starting October 9th, 2025, with transactions restricted to hedging purposes only.

*The National Financial Regulatory Administration and the Shanghai Municipal Government jointly issued the “Action Plan to Support the Construction of Shanghai as an International Financial Center”, which proposes promoting the clustering of financial institutions and enhancing the quality and strength of financial services.
*Premier Li Qiang emphasized innovation-driven development and boosting effective demand during inspection tour in Jiangsu Province from June 16th-18th.

Industrial Economy
*MIIT and five other departments jointly released the “Implementation Plan for Digital Transformation of the Textile Industry”, setting the target that by 2027, over 70% of key business processes in large-scale textile enterprises will achieve comprehensive digitalization.
