Marcus Goi Chin Poh

Marcus Goi is the Managing Director and CEO of Orient Futures International (Singapore) Pte Ltd (OFIS).

As CEO, Marcus drives OFIS’s global expansion with a disruptive approach, harnessing advanced technologies like Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Smart Data to transform brokerage services.

Before joining OFIS, Marcus was Head of Commercial and Global Sales at United Overseas Bank Bullion and Futures (“UOBBF”), where he played a key role in shaping brokerage business development and global sales strategies. A respected leader in the capital markets, he led the creation of UOB’s low-latency global trading network and solutions, which attracted a significant client base and high trading volumes.

With over two decades in the financial services and capital markets industry, Marcus is renowned for his expertise in exchange-traded derivatives, OTC clearing, and leveraged FX, and is recognized for his successful track record in driving industry innovation and transformation.

Low Teck Ngee

Chief Operating Officer
Orient Futures International (Singapore)

Teck Ngee is the Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer of Orient Futures international (Singapore) Pte Ltd (“OFIS”).

Teck Ngee has over 20 years of experience in the banking and capital markets industry. Prior to joining OFIS, he was the Executive Director and Head of Product Support at United Overseas Bank (“UOB”). Over the course of Teck Ngee’s career, he has led teams in the project management and implementation of core Capital Market systems, covering products that include Foreign Exchange, Foreign Exchange Derivatives, Money Market, Interest Rate Derivatives, Credit Derivatives, Fixed Income, Commodities Derivatives, and Equities Derivatives.

Teck Ngee has also overseen the successful completion of several key projects, including the ideation, design, and implementation of UOB’s first electronic foreign exchange trading, market-making and distribution platforms; and the overseas implementation of Capital Market middle and back office systems in numerous foreign markets (Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Hong Kong, China, Japan, Taiwan, Korea, United States, United Kingdom and Australia).

Teck Ngee holds a Bachelor of Business (Financial Analysis) degree from Nanyang Technological University, and a Master of Science (Financial Engineering) degree from the National University of Singapore. He is also an accredited Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Financial Risk Manager (FRM), and a Professional Risk Manager (PRM).

Philip Huang

Chief Risk Officer

Philip Huang is the Chief Risk Officer at Orient Futures Singapore, where he is responsible for overseeing the firm’s risk management strategies and ensuring the stability of its operations across global markets. Q Tan Chuen Kiat

Q Tan is the Head of Sales at Orient Futures Singapore, bringing nearly 30 years of experience in the financial and derivatives industry. With a deep understanding of global markets, he has played a pivotal role in driving business growth, fostering client relationships, and expanding market access. His expertise spans sales strategy, risk management, and trading solutions.

Throughout his career, Q has worked closely with institutional clients, professional traders, and financial institutions, providing tailored solutions that align with their trading and investment needs. His strategic vision, combined with a strong commitment to client success, has helped position Orient Futures Singapore as a key player in the derivatives market. Passionate about innovation and market development, he continues to lead initiatives that enhance trading efficiency and unlock new opportunities for clients.

Steve Phoon

Head of Finance
Orient Futures International (Singapore)

As the Head of Finance, Steve oversees the finance function, encompassing finance and accounting, FP&A, and regulatory compliance.

He is dedicated to developing his team’s skills and supporting their professional growth. With an open-minded approach, he prioritises the integration of data and technology with core accounting principles, enabling the finance team to provide timely information and valuable insights that drive business success.

Steve’s strategic goal is to ensure the finance function is “operationally ready” to add value at every stage of the company’s growth.

Yeo Joo Hiong

Head of Compliance
Orient Futures International (Singapore)

Yeo Joo Hiong is the Director and Head of Compliance of Orient Futures Singapore. As the Head of Compliance, Joo Hiong heads the Compliance function of the organisation. In his role, he ensures compliance to legal and regulatory requirements as well as internal policies and standards.

Joo Hiong holds a Bachelor of Accountancy from the Nanyang Technological University and has over 20 years of experience covering Finance and Regulatory Compliance roles across the financial services industry. He is a Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Singapore Chartered accountants and Chartered Accountants, Australia & New Zealand.

Melvin Wah

Head of Information Technology
Orient Futures International (Singapore)

Melvin has over 20 years of experience in IT infrastructure management and trading platform connectivity, specialising in low-latency networks and seamless data integration for financial institutions. He is well-versed in global IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and the MAS Technology Risk Management (TRM) framework.

With expertise in trading platform integration, secure system deployment, and cloud computing, Melvin ensures optimal performance in real-time trading environments. He collaborates closely with traders, engineers, and IT teams to enhance system resilience, security, and efficiency.

Jeremy Soh

Head of Onboarding
Orient Futures International (Singapore)

Jeremy currently leads the client onboarding team, optimizing business workflows and streamlining processes to enhance the Client Lifecycle framework.

With 17 years of experience in traditional banking across Investment Banking, Private Wealth Management, Global Markets, and Fintech, Jeremy has also dedicated seven years to client onboarding, specialising in project management, operations, and settlements.

Victor Chia

Head of Client Services
Orient Futures International (Singapore)

Victor has over 16 years of experience in the financial markets, with a focus on equities and derivatives clearing and trading. Currently serving as the Head of Client Services at Orient Futures Singapore, his extensive background aligns well with this role, leveraging his deep understanding of market dynamics, risk management, and technical connectivity solutions.

In his previous role, Victor was CEO of 1Exchange (2021-2023), where he led strategy, project management, and day-to-day operations for a private securities exchange, overseeing and guiding the management team through complex challenges. His hands-on leadership and ability to navigate difficult stakeholder relationships in a startup environment honed his skills in driving business success.

Prior to 1Exchange, Victor held various roles at leading financial institutions, such as DBS Vickers, ABN AMRO, and UOB, where he gained significant expertise in institutional sales, electronic trading, and risk management across APAC markets. He successfully integrated product offerings, managed client relationships, and ensured compliance across diverse market jurisdictions.

Noorlela Wahyuni

Head of Operations
Orient Futures International (Singapore)

With over 30 years of experience in the brokerage industry, from her early days on the physical trading floor to the fully electronic trading market of today, Noorlela Wahyuni leads the Operations team at Orient Futures Singapore with exceptional precision and expertise.

As Head of Operations, she oversees critical functions and the entire 24-hour operational process, ensuring seamless trade settlement and full compliance with industry standards. Noorlela is also a key decision maker and often serves as the go-to person for back-office enhancement in support of new business initiatives.

Her extensive knowledge and hands-on approach have been crucial in streamlining processes and enhancing operational resilience. Committed to excellence, Noorlela plays a key role in supporting the firm’s growth by maintaining robust infrastructure and delivering a smooth trading experience for clients.

Nicholas Huang

Head of Risk

Nicholas is the Head of Risk Management at Orient Futures International Singapore, a highly skilled and results-oriented professional, Nicholas oversees the development and implementation of a robust risk management framework. With over 10 years of experience in the financial markets, he brings a deep understanding of risk management principles and practices to this role. He is passionate about building a collaborative and proactive risk culture where every team member plays a vital role in identifying and managing risks.

Nicholas has a proven track record of success in managing and mitigating various types of risk, including market risk, credit risk, and operational risk. He has a strong background in risk methodology development, P&L/VaR analysis, and regulatory compliance. Prior to joining Orient Futures Singapore, he held senior risk management positions at KGI Securities Singapore, where he successfully managed a 24/5 team, oversaw key projects like system integrations, and contributed to significant initiatives.

Hannah Lim

Head of Business Management

A results-driven IT professional with a career spanning over 30 years, I have experience across diverse sectors, including Software Development, Multinational Corporations (MNCs), Fintech, and Banking.

Having transitioned from a programmer to Project Manager and ultimately to Head of Business Management. My experience encompasses the full software development lifecycle, team leadership, strategic planning, and driving high-impact projects to successful delivery.

Jed Teo

Head of Marketing

Jed Teo is an experienced marketing leader with nearly a decade of expertise, primarily in the financial services sector. As Head of Marketing at Orient Futures Singapore, he leads brand strategy, digital initiatives, and lead generation efforts, driving the firm’s expansion in the derivatives trading market. His strengths lie in digital marketing, performance optimisation, and event management, ensuring strong market positioning and client engagement.

With a data-driven and strategic approach, Jed has consistently delivered measurable success across various financial institutions. He has led high-performing marketing teams, executed impactful campaigns, and played a key role in enhancing brand visibility, improving marketing efficiency, and organising regional industry events.

Chen Shilun

Head of Legal
Orient Futures International (Singapore)

Shilun obtained his Bachelor of Laws from the National University of Singapore and is qualified to practice law in Singapore. He has a firm background in legal matters relating to capital markets and financial services, and in particular derivatives and futures in China. Prior to joining Orient Futures Singapore, Shilun worked for several years in a global investment bank, handling matters involving prime brokerage, ETFs, securities and derivatives in major APAC regions.

As the Head of Legal, Shilun manages the organisation’s legal functions, providing business-related legal advice and overseeing contract reviews. He also supports matters concerning financial regulations, privacy laws, and employment laws.
