– On June 9, US President Donald Trump said that negotiations between the United States and Iran have entered their “final stretch” and that an agreement will be reached “within two to three days.”
 
– Regarding the US request for China to resume rare earth exports to Japan, China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that in accordance with laws and regulations, China prohibits the export of all dual-use items to Japanese military end-users, for military purposes, as well as to all other end-users and for any uses that help bolster Japan’s military capabilities. The move is aimed at thwarting Japan’s attempts at remilitarization and nuclear armament.
 
– The United States has added several Chinese technology companies, including Alibaba and BYD, to a list of military-linked enterprises.
