Policy
*The State Council Premier Li Qiang presided over the executive meeting, reviewed and approved the “Action Plan for Promoting Large-scale Equipment Update and Trade-in-Plus for Consumer Goods”, studied and accelerated the construction of a modern infrastructure system, continued to deepen the high-quality development of integrated development in the Yangtze River Delta.
Industrial Economy
*Beijing issued the “Implementation Plan for Digital Transformation of Manufacturing Industry 2024-2026”, which pointed out to build a demonstration for innovative application of AI, actively promote universities, research institutes, and emerging R&D institutions to build large models of industrial AI.
*Shanghai announced a new round of fuel vehicle replacement subsidy policy and NEV replacement policy, which will continue the 2023 standard, with a subsidy of up to cny 10k for car purchases and a subsidy of up to cny 1k for buying green and smart home appliances.
*The National Data Administration and other three departments jointly researched and improved the efficiency of network transmission of “eastern calculation and western calculation”.
*Zheng Zhajie, head of NDRC investigated the development of artificial intelligence industry in Beijing, who encouraged to actively comply with the trends of technological revolution and industrial transformation, strengthen technology R&D, and expand industry empowerment applications.
