*Chairman Xi Jinping emphasized the important mission of building the international economic centers, financial centers, trade centers, shipping centers, and technology innovation centers and accelerating the construction of a socialist modern international metropolis, during his inspection in Shanghai.

 

Policy

*The State Council Premier Li Qiang presided over the executive meeting on December 1st, listen to the report on the comprehensive supervision of promoting high-quality development, study and clarify several measures for accelerating the integrated development of domestic and foreign trade, discuss the “Personal Resources Law of the People’s Republic of China” and study work related to the industrialization of biological breeding.

 

Industrial Economy

*Shanghai issued “Several Opinions on Promoting the Reform, Innovation and Development of Zhangjiang High-tech Zone to Build a World-leading Sci&Tech Park” in striving to take 3-year benchmark.

*PBoC: Actively cooperate with industry authorities and local governments in financial support for the stable and healthy development of the real estate market, provide medium to long-term, low-cost financial support for the construction of affordable housing, improve the financial policy system for housing leasing, and promote the construction of new models for real estate development. Providing emergency liquidity support to areas with relatively heavy debt burden when necessary.

*Guangdong Province issued a work plan for “Several Measures to unleash the potential of tourism consumption and promote high-quality development of tourism”, which proposed to launch the “100 cities,100 districts” financial support for cultural and tourism consumption action.

 

Financials

*PBoC formulated and announced the “Management Measures for Bond Market Valuation Business in the Interbank Bond Market”, which will be effective from January 1st, 2024.

*JAC (600418) with Huawei terminals signed the “Intelligent New Energy Automobile Cooperation Agreement”, and reached a cooperation agreement to build the new intelligent networked new energy automobile.

* Global crude oil price closed down collectively. January NYMEX crude oil contract down 2.08% to closed at $74.38/b, February Brent contract down 2.14% to closed at $79.13/b. INE crude oil active contract down 3.37% to 564.2 yuan/b.
